Ripley Johnson has graced us again with “Earth Trip”, the third release from his solo project. It’s a beautiful album that is truly a billet-doux to the natural world. It’s impossible not to be lifted and carried away to calm with this one.

Clever Girls's newest album 'Constellations" is an absolute gift. It walks a listener though the both relatable and highly personal story of the isolation that can ensue while exploring ones inner compass. It aches beautifully of the pain that comes from growth. The honesty of this album is truly special.

Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) honored Alice in Chains with their annual 2020 Founders Award. The streaming benefit aired December 1 to support this historic museum and featured some top notch acts performing tribute covers of Alice in Chains tunes with the buzz from some of these special performances lasting for days after the program aired. Due to the pandemic, many of the recordings were tracked remotely. Geoff Ott of London Bridge Studio in Seattle tracked and mixed the artists who recorded on site at the museum. Performances by: Alice In Chains, Liv Warfield, Lily Cornell with Chris Degarmo, Kim Thayil with Krist Novoselic, Soundgarden, & Shaina Shepherd.

Comma by Sam Prekop is out now. Many of you know Sam from Sea and Cake, and as a fan of that band I can say with absolution that all of Sam's solo projects are worth spending time with.
